getting a error 0*80070490 when trying a windows back up!!!

hi!

When i try a windows backup gettinga error which says that 0*80070490 element not found.Can't do a windows backup

Tried chkdsk in safe mode and also loaded windows with the minimal configuration but to no avail.Can anyone tell me as to how to get rid of this problem.

Help would be appreciated.
