Hi Everyone, New User to this site and looking for help.
Please could anyone shed any light on this:
I have a Windows Server running Server 2003 R2. I have a Database that resides on this server that uses Interbase 7.5 as its engine.
The Database is a collection of approximately 12 million Records that is updated in real time by up to 30 consecutive users several times per minute, 9am to 5pm. Most of time it is fine and performs without a hitch but just occasionally it freezes. Sometimes it clears the problem and resumes after a minute or so and sometimes we have to restart the server to clear the fault.
On the server we observe the page faults increasing by up to 15,000 PER SECOND. Surely this is not normal!!
The server has 4Gb Ram and its usage is normally less than 1GB.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
