Continuous growth of RAM (primary memory) usage

Hi

I am using HP proliant DL380G6 server installed with MS Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard(as O/S, 64 bit) and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 standard. I am running a particular application on it since Mid 2012 without any issue. Antivirus is Symantec end point protection and it is fully updated and functional. RAM is 10GB installed and HDD is 500 GB with two partitions (C: and F:)

Since last 1 month, i am facing the continuous Primary memory (RAM) when I run that particular application. It starts from 23% in windows task manager / performance tab and keeps on growing till 97%. Finally the server stops accessing other shared machines on network saying insufficient network resources. Then i have only option left to stop that application or restart the server which is not justified. In performance tab, sqlserver.exe program shows maximum usage of memory and several other processes running. I do not know, which process is required and which not.

pls help me

Thanks in advance
